It's extremely easy to snipe the first actual NPC you come across who is part of the main story and automatically fail the bulk of the quests for Honest Hearts. Should I have stuck with the trail guide? Kinda felt like the game led me the way I went, though. Did I hear wrong? Because that's what I did, and I've met the Burned Man. something about going across a bridge right at the beginning, and some people thought it was obvious, and others said you weren't supposed to. I keep hearing both it and Dead Money should be done first, and I've previously started Dead Money, and I know it's kinda rough. The main complaint I have is that only a tiny subset of FO3 mods are supported. Playing though FO3 with the NV style shooting is enjoyable so far. I'm not sure if that is a problem with Tale of Two Wastelands in general or one of my NV mods causing trouble. Restarting and reloading the last save then allows me to level up without issue. The only problem I've seen come up is it will crash on every odd level after assigning skill points. I merged a clean install of Fallout 3 with a copy of New Vegas with a ton of NV mods. Here's the FAQ from the official site.I just started a new playthrough using Tale of Two Wastelands and their installer worked without needing to fiddle with anything, although it did take a long time to finish. Is it still a lot of work to get up and running? Seems like it would be.
